  • Production of Industrially important compound such as Baker’s Yeast, Citric acid and Antibiotics.

  • Comparison of Natural Preservatives from Artificial Preservatives.
  • Isolation and characterization of oil degrading bacteria.

Biodiversity tour and Industry tour

  • Biodiversity tour and Industry was conducted for final year B.Sc(H) Biotechnology & Microbiology and B.Pharm students at Hyderabad (January, 2013) under the guidance of Mr.Anshuman Bhattacharyya, Ms. Saini Setua and Ms. Priyanka Ray, Faculty, GNIPST.
  • Biodiversity tour and Industry was conducted for final year B.Sc(H) Biotechnology & Microbiology at North Bengal Lataguri (Feb-2012) under the guidance of Mr.Anshuman Bhattacharyya and Mr. Soumya Bhattacharya. Faculty, GNIPST.
  • Biodiversity tour was conducted for final year B.Sc (H) Biotechnology & Microbiology at Sunderban in February 2011. Under the guidance of Prof Dipankar Chakraborty. GNIPST.
  • An industrial tour was conducted for all the year of B.Sc (H) Biotechnology and Microbiology students in Plant Tissue Culture Company at Gangarampur Kolkata in the year of 201O. under the guidance of Ms Swati Nandi, Ms Sumana Ghosh and Ms Sonali Roy, GNIPST.
